Volunteer Experience

Lead Volunteer—Office of Human Rights, Diversity, and Equity (Sept. 2019-present)

As a Champion of Diversity and Equity with the Office of Human Rights, Diversity, and Equity at MacEwan, I lead events throughout the university for different awareness days such as the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Leader—YoungLife (Sept. 2017-present)

YoungLife St. Albert is a youth group that fosters meaningful relationships between leaders and students. I organize meetings and mentor the leader team and youth.

MacEwan Ambassador—MacEwan University (Sept. 2017-June 2019)

Volunteer regularly within MacEwan University and around the community with Habitat for Humanity, Hope Mission, Ronald MacDonald House and countless University events.

Mission Builder—YWAM Mazatlán (May 2017-Aug. 2017)

Served as a volunteer mission builder with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in Mazatlán. I assisted with daily operations in the kitchen, brought clean drinking to small villages, and visited people at the hospitals.

Leader—YoungLife (Sept. 2016-Sept. 2017)

Part of the leader team of YoungLife St. Albert. Planned and executed fun events for junior high students to foster a healthy community.

Founder and Organizer—Coding Club (Sept. 2015-June 2016)

Started a coding club at my high school for students who enjoyed programming to feel a sense of belonging and strengthen their skill set.

Fundraiser Organizer—Free the Children (Mar. 2015)

Organized a petting zoo and various contests to raise money to buy over 50 goats for a developing country through the Me to We initiative.

School Coordinator—Annual Light the Night Walk for Leukemia and Lymphoma in Edmonton (Mar. 2015)

Organized 100+ students from St. Albert  High School to raise money and awareness in support of people who are suffering from Leukemia and Lymphoma.

Team Member—New Orleans Mission Trip (Mar. 2014)

Along with thirty students and staff I travelled to New Orleans in March 2014 after months of planning. We helped with hurricane relief and personal support.

Actor—St. Albert Children’s Theatre (Sept. 2009-June 2016)

Participated as an actor in 13 full-scale productions that occurred twice a year.
